The Nandao fighter is a United Nations Space Command (UNSC) space fighter.[1]
Specifications
The Nandaos are described as having a "dart shape"[2], and are considered powerful enough that an understaffed Covenant frigate would avoid having to face a squadron of them.[3] The craft are capable of flying at Mach 12.[3]
The Mariner helmet is optimised for the flight systems of the Nandao, alongside those of the Baselard and Sabre.[4]
Operational history

The Nandao was in service by 2526 with ten squadrons serving as a part of Task Force Pantea.[1]
One squadron of Nandaos that was in service around this time was Echo One.[3]
