Dawn

Dawn is the second level of Halo 4's campaign. It involves John-117 awaking from cryo sleep and fighting the Covenant remnant in the remains of the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn.[1] Accessing John's service record during the level grants the player the Digging up the Past achievement, while completing the level on any difficulty unlocks the Dawn achievement.
Transcript
Panoramic view of a large room filled with individually sealed beds. The beds are all filled with children, most sleeping. One chamber however, is lit up and the child inside is sitting up. Fade to black. Another view of a row of the beds comes up, the camera moving down. Fades away into a first-person viewpoint of someone walking toward the lit up bed chamber. The camera moves toward the chamber and looks inside. The shirt the child is wearing has a visible name: John. The camera zooms in on John's face looking at the camera. The camera switches to a close-up view on a person with bright blue eyes and gray hair and begins to zoom out.
- Interrogator: "Tell me about the children."
The camera fades to a side-view of the person's face, who is shown to be a female. In the background, a shadowy figure straightens. The camera switches to a point where the two are visible.
- Interrogator: "Doctor Halsey?"
The woman, Doctor Halsey, looks up and at the interrogator.
- Doctor Halsey: "You already know everything."
Trivia
Several cases resembling the Halo 4 Limited Edition can be found floating in the ship's airlocks. One can also be found in the ship's observation deck.[2]
