ONI Data Drops appear to be classified or otherwise restricted files. The first of these appeared on Halo Waypoint on September 9, 2011 at 4:11 PM, Pacific Standard Time (PST). The page on which the first file was located suggested that it was the first of six, it is assumed that the following five are to be released sometime in the near future.

Data Drop One

File:XF-063.jpg
The image contained in Data Drop One.

This Data Drop is nothing more than an image of a blue grid overlaying a starfield with a single section being identified by a large arrow. The image also possesses a white box containing text detailing an object within the indicated section.

The text defines a planet, XF-063. This planet is the third planet in the Zeta Doradus System. The planet appears to be very similar to Earth: it is 14,829 kilometers in diameter and possesses one moon. So far as details are concerned, it has 99.8 percent of Earth's gravity and the atmosphere is composed of Nitrogen, Oxygen, and Argon, with a pressure of little more than one atmosphere. The ratios of the gasses are not indicated. In addition, the surface temperature ranges from negative twenty-five to forty-seven degrees celsius (~negative thirteen to one-hundred sixteen degrees fahrenheit). Lastly, a local day lasts approximately twenty-nine hours and a local year lasts about 415 days (whether local or Earth is unclear).
