Captain Teach was a "dumb" AI who assisted the rogue Spartan-II, Soren-066 and former-UNSC technician Partch attempt to escape Reach in a Longsword interceptor. His mannerisms, speech and appearance are inspired by the pirates that stalked the Caribbean and American coasts. It is assumed he was destroyed when the Longsword crashed into one of Reach's forests.

- His name and appearance is inspired by the famous pirate, Edward Teach, more commonly known as Blackbeard.
