A Soldier's Tale: Rain Forest Wars was a book considered to be a military classic by the 26th century written by Jeremiah Mendez.[1] It was published in 2164 and was focused on the Rain Forest Wars of the Interplanetary War. Senior Chief Petty Officer Franklin Mendez kept this book with him, and read it at the funeral for multiple Spartans, including LCDR Kurt-051, PO2 William-043, Holly-G003, and Dante-G188.[2]
