This level type places two teams on opposite sides of the map with a "base." The objective of this game it to steal the flag from the other teams base and return the flag to your own base.  You can't shoot while holding the flag.  You have to plan a counter attack after they attack. You usually can't get into a vehicle when holding the flag (you can get into sideseats though)(you can change that in quick options before the game).

Some good strategies are to always have a good sniper covering the flag to make sure the other team doesn't get it. You should have someone with a good close combat weapon ([[Energy Sword]], [[Shotgun]]) go in for the flag with the sniper covering him, and if the carrier gets into ''real'' deep crap, he could drop the flag then slaughter his opponent then resume on his peaceful trip back to base.

1 Flag CTF is a game of Capture the Flag. One team is offense, their job being to infiltrate the enemy base, whether by stealth, brute force, or other tactics, and grab the enemy's flag. Then, the flag carrier must return to the flag stand in their own base.

The defense's job is quite obvious. Defend the flag, and if it is captured, kill the carrier, and guard the flag until its timer runs down and is returned to base.

This level type places two teams on opposite sides of the map with a "base." Like most games, you can't shoot while holding the flag and you usually can't get into a vehicle when holding the flag either. However, you can get into sideseats or you can change vehicle boarding in quick options while in the pre-game lobby.

As the title says, only one team has a flag. So, you only need to worry about offense/defense one at a time. Some maps good for this are Zanzibar, Headlong, Ivory Tower, Relic, and Terminal.

Some good strategies are to always have a good sniper covering the flag to make sure the other team doesn't get it. You should have someone with a good close combat weapon (Energy Sword, Shotgun) go in for the flag with the sniper covering him, and if the carrier gets into a bad situation, he could drop the flag, slaughter his opponent(s), and then resume on his trip back to base.
