Template:Spoilers On February 23rd, 2531, the United Nations Space Command arrived here chasing after Covenant forces, attempting to recover a kidnapped Professor Anders. Establishing a small ground force, the Charlie Platoon encountered unknown alien organisms, managing to defeat several of them. The Spirit of Fire was attacked by Forerunner Sentinels, requiring an immediate evacuation. Pelican dropships attempted to pick Charlie Platoon up directly, but were intercepted by hostile aerial units, forcing the Marines to return to base on foot for pickup. The base was abandoned, leaving it at the mercy of the unknown aliens.
