This weapon can be seen in the Behind The Scenes: Halo 3 Trailer video.

The Spiker is a Brute weapon in Halo 3, which fires two-feet of superheated metal spikes. It is a dual-wieldable weapon resembling a cut-down shotgun, with two bayonets. The double barrell and blades on this weapon make it look deadly but even though its slightly more powerful that an SMG it has a much slower rate of fire.
