Promethean Vision is an upcoming armor ability which will be featured in Halo 4.[1] It gives the player the ability to "see through walls". It is claimed to be balanced by its ability to be fooled by the Active Camouflage and Hologram armor abilities and by the noise produced when it is in use. It will have limited range, and works by sending out a pulses "like sonar".[citation needed]
