Template:Planet Venezia is a human colony formerly governed by the United Earth Government, now likely under the control of a centralized Insurrectionist leadership.[1] Sometime prior to 2543, the UNSC lost contact with the planet, at the time it was a known haven for terrorists.[2] Months after the end of the Human-Covenant War, rebel forces have begun preparation for an attack on the UEG capital, Earth.
