Biography
First Battle of Earth
His unit, the 7th Battalion of the 105th Shock Division, was present at the First Battle of Earth in October 2552.
During the battle, he and his squad was in Gunnery Sergeant Pete Stacker's Pelican when it was shot down on approach to New Mombasa. After their Pelican was downed, and the pilots and O'Brien were killed, he announced O'Brien's death, as they headed toward the Hotel Zanzibar. Moments later, when Jones had given a Jackal Sniper the "Welcome to Earth giftbasket" and scared two Grunts away, a Plasma Grenade had landed on Walpole's helmet. Using quick reflexes, the private was able to grab his helmet and hurl it toward an Elite's position. There, Stacker and his team saw the Elite, only after it had held Jones as a prisoner. Butkis opened fire with an overcharged plasma pistol at the Elite, as Stacker gave the Elite his last breath with three rounds from a Battle Rifle. Walpole kicks and inspects the Elite's corpse at the end of cinematic.
