The Banyan tree, also known as Bargad or Vata, is an evergreen tree that grows to an average height of around 100 feet (approx. 30.5 meters). In the Halo Universe
In the novel Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, one of these large tropical trees was used to house an observation platform by Kurt-051[1].
