The light plasma mortar is essentially a downscaled version of the plasma mortar mounted on the Covenant Type-25 Assault Gun Carriage. While charging, the plasma possesses a bluish tinge, though it is red when it is fired. The weapon has a less pronounced parabolic arc than its larger cousin. The mortar can fire once every two to five seconds.[1]
