While Makee attempted to determine the ring's location, Sangheili priest Uto 'Mdama pushed for a return to High Charity. Needing John to use the other keystone at the same time in order to activate the vision of Halo again, Makee allowed Cortana access to the ship's communications systems. Cortana led John to the Madrigal keystone on Onyx, but also informed Admiral Margaret Parangosky of the ship's position. Using the stars visible in her vision of the ring, Makee was able to pinpoint Installation 04's location in the Soell system. However, as the corvette moved towards the ring, it came under heavy fire from the First Fleet of Solemn Accord, the very same fleet that the Arbiter had once commanded. Heavily damaged, the corvette began breaking apart as it entered Halo's gravity well.
