Usage

This info/navigation box is for use on the top page of a year page.

Instructions

Cut and paste the following code into your article, then put the relevant specifications after the "=" signs.

General

These are fields that will appear regardless.

• image (This is a image/images/tabber containing images of the weapon)
• caption (This is the caption of the image/images/tabber containing images of the year)

Dates in other dating systems

This is information tied to other dating systems used in Halo. If a species or group uses a dating system; for example the Covenant Ages, we can put it in.

• other

Previous and Next

These allow manual control over what the previous and next display. Mostly used if the template is unable to process too many features. If these fields are not entered, the relevant fields will fill automatically unless an error occurs.

• previous1 (this is usually two years pages before the current. If the year is 2552, then this will be 2550)
• previous2 (this is usually one years pages before the current. If the year is 2552, then this will be 2551)
• next1 (this is usually one year after the current. If the year is 2552, then this will be 2553)
• next2 (this is usually two years after the current. If the year is 2552, then this will be 2554)

Ignore

This is used to force the template to ignore certain years. This is mostly done to ignore "real world" years. Full list as of 2026.
