Logic?[edit]
How can this ancient poem drafted between two alien species long before they ever met humanity possibly translate and rhyme perfectly in English? I know it's looking in to it too much but this is something I always wondered. I mean, human poems from different human languages don't even do this!--Ender the Xenocide 06:11, 17 August 2014 (EDT)

Covenant mantra[edit]
"All who walk the blessed path will find salvation, even in death.
Out of darkness, these blades will light our way.
Glory and honor guide our ascension.
On the blood of our fathers, on the blood of our sons.

Victory is secured not from the throne, but from the frontlines.

This mantra first was seen in Halo: Reach's elite armor descriptions and recently in the latest issue of Rise of Atriox. Halo Nation's writ of union article attributed it to a "Third Echelon Officer" but I can find no such reference source. Still i think its important to include it here on the site but honestly i'm not even sure that it truly relates to the Writ of Union. Lord Susto 16:56, 22 September 2017 (EDT)
