Anniversary[edit]

It was replaced by lethebridge in anniversary. Erickyboo (talk) 21:18, 10 December 2014 (EST)

True, but I would make the argument that the company still exists in the Halo universe unless stated otherwise by the developers.--Spartacus TalkContribs 01:54, 11 December 2014 (EST)
I agree that the visual aspect of canon is more flexible like that, not only seeing as they went through the trouble of including the "Classic Modes" in both Anniversary editions but because the same sort of attitude is present in 343i's official material, like the new Waypoint encyclopedia, where they liberally throw in different visuals from various sources (e.g. their use of the Halo 3 Forward Unto Dawn). To 343i, it seems visual canon isn't as sacred as written material, but newer versions like the Anniversary remakes don't necessarily overwrite the older ones. I suppose it's kind of like quantum mechanics: you have different overlapping states of visual canon that are dependent on the observer (or moreso the context in which they're being observed, that is, a particular work's visual style) but are otherwise equally valid. This is why I've never been the biggest fan of outright replacing all images from the original games with their Anniversary versions. With H2A it's often justified because of the sheer increase in quality in the Blur cinematics, but with CEA the difference in the amount of information the image offers isn't all that drastic. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 02:13, 11 December 2014 (EST)
