AI or Forerunner?

I assumed Haruspices were AIs created by the Forerunner to assist in studying the Domain.

Though it isn't made clear in the novel itself, Greg Bear clarified that Haruspices are "elevated" Forerunners. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 07:46, 7 June 2013 (EDT)
