Talk:Halo: Reach E3 Campaign Demo

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

Untitled[edit]

In Bungie's trailer of the actual demo, with the extended space battle scenes, I noticed what may be UNSC Destroyers. If you pause at exactly at 1:32, as the Sabre rushes past the screen, you'll notice a cluster of several UNSC ships in the background that bear a remarkable resemblance to UNSC Destroyers, specifically the type that appears in Halo: Wars Genesis. It even appears to have two MAC cannons, which Destroyers also have. They could be something completely different, but I just though I'd point it out and see what other people think. - Halo-343 (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 19:51, June 14, 2010 (UTC)

This is what I thought, exactly. At 1:32, the ship that appears to be docked at that larger station of some sort especially reminded me of a destroyer. It's like a Frigate, only heavier looking. The other ships in the background, I have no idea. Could be destroyers, some of them even Carriers. At least a few looked quite big. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 20:08, June 14, 2010 (UTC)

Campaign?[edit]

Are we sure that the demo showcased will be part of the campaign? The Halo 2 demo wasn't. I'm just saying this in regards to adding possible story information like Jorge-052 going along in space with the player.Tuckerscreator' 00:14, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

They have three months left until they ship the game. They've already stated they've got content complete, and they're removing bugs and putting the final polish. To create content like this from scratch would push the game back until 2011. Trust me, it's going to be in there. -- Specops306 Autocrat Qur'a 'Morhek 07:02, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
Specops is right. The Halo 2 E3 Demo was shown at E3 2003, more than a year before the game came out, which explains why it was so much different from the final product. Halo: Reach is set to be released in 3 months, so what we saw will have to be in the game or else Bungie won't meet its deadline.--Emblem 1.jpg Rusty - UserWiki:Rusty-112| 112 ]] 16:10, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

Elite Armour Lock[edit]

Erm, not quite sure if you can all see it, might have to actually use the youtube page but at 2:48 an Elite is at the top of the hill, slightly hidden behind a drop pod that does the entire "ground-pound" move, the sounds there and everything but as soon as the player moves up the Elite moves again. It looks just like the glitch on the armour lock page. XW3 AR3 L3GION 19:50, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

Yep, Elites can use Armour Lock in Campaign, so it seems. - Halo-343 (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 19:52, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
