Talk:Campaign scoring

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

Formula[edit]

I remember reading the Halo 3 How-To: Campaign Scoring 101, and noticed that it says the time is important because it goes On top of all the other multipliers and so can make your total score bigger. I decided to add this to the page in the formula. NOTE: I know I don't have to write this here but I feel as though I need to explain the change I made so I don't get flamed. Just read the above story. E93 22:25, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

time is multiplied into the current score, so 3x 5000 points will get you to your desired goal most of the time. --

Me and my friends just played the covenant and two of us got around 45k, then with the time bonus we had over 50k but neither of us got the achievement? are you sure the time bonus counts in on the achievement? - Last Face 06:13, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Team points won't get you the achievement. I'm not sure about free for all. My guess is that has to be done in singleplayer. Chris3145 00:10, November 6, 2009 (UTC)
The point achievements can be earned on FFA Co-op. 'S how I got some of the harder ones :P File:DavidJCobb_Emblem.svg|16px]] DavidJCobb  01:50, November 6, 2009 (UTC)

How?[edit]

How do you activate it? I've completed it on all four difficulties twice by this point, but I havn't found the 'on' switch on the settings. 84.64.235.235 21:22, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

In the Campaign Lobby, press X and choose either "Cooperative" or "Competitive" for single player. For co-op, Cooperative's a team-based scoring while Competitive is free-for-all. To activate Skulls, just select one and press A. They light up if activated. Until next time, respect them Grunts. This is MøuPoH|s]]e, squeaking out! 21:24, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Guilty Spark points[edit]

After I destroyed guilty spark the other day, I noticed my points increased. I did not see the number, can someone check this for me? 166.109.124.218 18:01, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Reach[edit]

Halo: Reach also has scoring. Maybe this article should be updated? --Spug 07:22, 19 May 2011 (EDT)
