Shearman was a crewmember on the UNSC Pillar of Autumn who was in the brig when the ship encountered Installation 04.
Biography[edit]
Shearman was imprisoned in the ship's brig for an unknown reason.[1]
On September 19, 2552, when the Pillar of Autumn came under attack by the Covenant, Shearman and the other prisoners were released from their cells by the guards and fled the ship in Lifeboat D13. Shearman took up the task of piloting the lifeboat with a female prisoner. When the lifeboat collided with an HEV, the pilot was killed and Shearman attempted to remove her from the controls. Shearman's section of viewscreen exploded inwards, lacerating his head and shoulders into a sick shower glass, blood and bone. Shearman's body was left tangled around the pilot's seat base, torn to shreds by the exploding viewscreen. The corpse was then burned by spurting battery acid and a spreading fire.[1]
