The ''Posu'gelka''-pattern shard launcher is one of the many needler variants manufactured by the Covenant and inherited by its remnants.{{Ref/Reuse|Enc22}} This design pattern of needler notably features a display on the back of the upper chassis; the display features 18 dots and functions similarly to an ammo counter. However, rather than displaying the remaining number of shards that could be fired from the magazine, it displays the corresponding number of [[Subanese crystal]]s still protruding from the upper cowling.{{Ref/Reuse|hinf}}
