Spartan Niles is a SPARTAN-IV supersoldier serving in the United Nations Space Command's Spartan Operations division. In April 2560, Niles was part of Project ARC DREAM, a UNSC research effort to salvage a derelict ancient human cruiser recovered by the Office of Naval Intelligence at Site Yankee-002-G3. As the ARC DREAM crew began to experience strange visions aboard the ship, one of the crew, Earl, reported having a strange dream in which Niles stood still while fully-armoured and asked a strange question in a voice that "was not his". Earl refused to elaborate further on what the question was.[1]
