Isaac Lux was a human writer of romance stories. He was the author of The Dawn of Angels, a novel that dealt with themes of love, struggle, and hope. Makee, an orphaned girl raised by members of the Covenant, possessed a worn copy of his book, which she would read in her room on High Charity.[1]
