Vice Admiral Gabriella Dvørak is a commissioned officer in the UNSC Navy, serving in the Office of Naval Intelligence.[1]
Biography[edit]
ONI's Senior Communications Director, Commander Michael Sullivan arranged for journalist Benjamin Giraud to interview her during Giraud's series of biographical interviews about John-117 in 2558. In that year, the Autumn-class heavy cruiser UNSC Unto the Breach was her base of operations.[1]
The particulars of Dvørak's service are unclear. When interviewed by Giraud she claimed—as part of an ONI-provided cover story—that she served in Elysium City, Eridanus II in 2524, at the time a junior officer with the rank of Lieutenant. She also described seeing and being acquainted with John in Elysium City at this time; in reality the original John was serving in the SPARTAN-II program, and his flash clone died in 2517.[1]
Later on Giraud was able to uncover Dvørak's CSV in an unlocked database on Bliss, which instead claimed that she had been on Dwarka in 2524 at the time she was purported to have taken part in the liberation of Elysium City, and had never set foot on Eridanus II.[2] Given the nature of ONI's entrapment of Giraud, it is unclear whether the Bliss database's information was any more accurate than Dvørak's first story.
Production note[edit]
Dvørak is portrayed by Canadian–American actress Jennifer Hale in Hunt the Truth.[3][4] Hale also prominently voiced Sarah Palmer in Halo 4 through Halo Infinite.
