On December 12, 2559, Spartans [[Vedrana Makovich]] and [[Henri Malik]] of Fireteam Windfall were onboard [[FSS-1000 Sabre]] spacecrafts escorting {{UNSCShip|Infinity}} when it was [[Battle over Installation 07|ambushed]] by [[Banished]] forces upon arrival at [[Installation 07]].{{Ref/Novel|Id=RP170|RP|Chapter=2}} As the ''Infinity'' fell to the Banished assault, Makovich and Malik engaged [[Banshee]]s that were attacking the lifeboats launching from the ''Infinity''.{{Ref/Game|HI|Audio log (Halo Infinite)#Evacuation 2|Spartan Audio log|Detail=Evacuation #06 - Buying Time}}

At least two members of Windfall, Makovich and Malik, had joined the UNSC survivors at the wreckage of {{UNSCShip|Mortal Reverie}} at the fragmented section of the ring.
