For the record, this is what happened the last time someone tried to find out 117's real last name. I think the point is that it's not something important to the story, and possibly that Bungie still wants the Chief to be to some degree a blank slate (just like with the not-showing-face deal). --Andrew Nagy 00:39, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
