The 124th Infantry Division (MCH 124 XX) was a mechanized infantry formation of the UNSC Army during the Human-Covenant War.[1] This division was garrisoned in the Viery territory of the Human colony of Reach. It participated in the invasion to counter Covenant Army landing forces.
Structure[edit]
At the time of the assault on Viery by the Covenant invasion forces, the 124th Mechanized had four brigades and two battalions.
- 1st Brigade — (MCH 124 X 1) Eastern Viery
- 6th Brigade — (MCH 124 X 6) Central Viery
- 13th Brigade — (MCH 124 X 13) Northeastern Viery
- 47th Brigade — (MCH 124 X 47) Northern Viery
- 127th Battalion — (MCH 124 || 127) Central Viery
- 501st Battalion — (MCH 124 || 501) Southeastern Viery
