Template:Ratings Yachts are small leisure starship classification used by wealthy human civilians as personal transport and for long-duration cruises.[1] UNSC Prowlers are often disguised as yachts by the Office of Naval Intelligence, as a cover for their activities and to avoid suspicion. Because of their limited capacity to sustain their naval forces, the Insurrectionists often retrofit such ships for military use.[1]
Notable Yachts
- The Spartan 1.1 Faction acquired a yacht with which they could use to fight the Covenant.
- The Template:UNSCship, while actually an ONI spy ship, disguised itself as a yacht.[2]
- The UNSC Applebee, one of the fake yachts docked in Reach's space docks during 2552.
- The Template:UNSCship, destroyed over Reach, was being refitted as part of Operation: HYPODERMIC to look like a yacht.[3]
- The UNSC Lark, another fake yacht docked in a Reach space dock.
