The "Xeno orders" is a colloquial UNSC Marine term for a series of ONI directives relating to the treatment of xenoarchaelogical finds. During the Battle of Ariel, ODSTs Kojo Agu and Taylor H. Miles broke these directives by destroying the Forerunner AI called "The Knowing" in order to stop the Covenant from using its information against humanity.[1]
