The cabinet of the Unified Earth Government is the executive branch of the government. Members of the cabinet are selected by the President of the Unified Earth Government. One of the seats on the cabinet is Minister for the Colonies. Following the Human-Covenant War, Ruth Charet was elected president on January 8, 2553 and she selected the members of her cabinet within the month; in her cabinet, Akeyo Oduya replaced David Agnoli as Minister for the Colonies.[1] It is likely that the Secretary of Defense is another seat on the cabinet.[2]
