The UNSC Constantinople was a Halcyon-class light cruiser in service with the UNSC Navy.[1] The Constantinople served in Battle Group X-Ray, led by Vice Admiral Preston Cole, during the Second Battle of Harvest on March 1, 2526. While the battle group engaged made a last, desperate attempt to destroy a single Covenant super-destroyer, the Constantinople was destroyed by the vessel's fourth salvo, along with the Troy and Lowrentz.[5] The Constantinople was declared "lost with all hands".[1]

After the Human-Covenant War, the crew of the vessel, along with members of the various branches of the UNSC Defense Force, were commemorated for their service at the dedication of a "living monument".[1]

Trivia

The ship was named for the capital of numerous ancient and modern empires, now known as Istanbul.
