According to the level description of [[Sandtrap (Level)]], the area the Aegis Fate hovers near was a Brute excavation site of a Forerunner structure. The vessel seems to have played a part in ejecting the Brutes from the area, such as supplying troops, vehicles, and supplies to UNSC ground forces.
It was believed to have been associated with the [[UNSC Home Fleet]] during the [[Second Battle of Earth]] when the confrontation concluded with the [[Covenant Loyalist]] withdrawal through the [[Forerunner]] [[Portal]]. The [[First Sangheilian Fleet]] pursued them several hours later through the Portal, and the UNSC ''Aegis Fate'' was believed to be one of the UNSC warships attached to the Elite fleet as well as the [[UNSC Forward Unto Dawn|UNSC ''Forward Unto Dawn'']].

The UNSC Aegis Fate, Hull Classification Symbol FFG-307, was a frigate of the United Nations Space Command Navy [1].

It was believed to have been associated with the UNSC Home Fleet during the Second Battle of Earth when the confrontation concluded with the Covenant Loyalist withdrawal through the Forerunner Portal. The First Sangheilian Fleet pursued them several hours later through the Portal, and the UNSC Aegis Fate was believed to be one of the UNSC warships attached to the Elite fleet as well as the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn.
