The Theta Ursae Majoris System is a UNSC-controlled star system situated approximately 45 light years from the Sol System. This system saw some heavy fighting between the UNSC and the Insurrectionists, including the Skirmish at Theta Ursae Majoris System in 2501 and the Battle of Theta Ursae Majoris System in 2504 when Battle Group Tango, consisting of four UNSC Destroyers, engaged the Insurrectionist Frigate Bellicose.[1] Even when the Insurrection seemed to be calming down in late 2502, the system was still the site of several police actions.[2]
