| Seraphs are the [[Covenant]]'s main starfighter, similar to the [[human]] [[Longsword]]. It's mainly a tear drop shape and it is armed with plasma cannons, and guided plasma torpedoes. Mainly used to attack or defend ships from incoming Longsword Fighters.

| Seraphs are never seen in action in the games, although they are often mentioned in the novels. The only time a Seraph is seen at all in the games is in [[Halo 2]], on the levels [[The Arbiter (Level)|The Arbiter]] and [[The Oracle (Level)|The Oracle]], where one is seen in a hangar in a [[Forerunner]] facility in [[Threshold]], which the [[Covenant]] storms in an attack on the [[Heretic]]s. The [[Heretic Leader]] attempts to escape the storm on Threshold in the Seraph, but is successfully stopped by the [[Arbiter]], who slays him in combat.
