Randall was a SPARTAN-II. He was not as sociable as Kurt-051. Randall went missing in action in 2532. He was presumed by most to be killed in action (but still marked MIA due to the Spartan MIA Protocol, but Dr. Catherine Halsey considered him the only Spartan-II to be truly MIA. [1]
