Apparantly he is one of the few Spartans that is truely MIA, having gone missing in 2532. This is interesting as it seemingly refutes [[John-117]]'s statement in [[First Strike]] that [[Kelly-087]] was the only Spartan that was truely MIA. It's possible that Randall's disapearance was under circumstances that almost guaranteed his death.
