The Trafalgar-class supercarrier[2] is a carrier sub-classification within the UNSC Navy. There were only a few constructed, with only one known hull being completed, the UNSC Trafalgar.[1] However, due to the size of the Navy during the Human-Covenant War, it is likely that there were a few supercarrier-type ships in service.[3]
The supercarrier was made for direct confrontation with Covenant capital ships, and was one of the few UNSC ships effective in this role. The armaments and armor of a Trafalgar-class supercarrier dwarf those of any other carrier in service with the UNSC Navy.[1]
Ships of the line
- UNSC Trafalgar - The lead ship of the class and the former flagship of the Epsilon Eridani Fleet. She was destroyed during the invasion of Reach in 2552.
