Perilous Journey is a piece included in the Halo: Original Soundtrack.
Appearances
This piece plays on the level Assault on the Control Room, at different points as you fight through waves of Covenant forces. It most prominently plays when you come across the last group of Marines, Fire Team Zulu, and lead them to their eventual location to be evacuated (below the final bridges).
It also plays in the level Pillar of Autumn, after you encounter the first group of Covenant to board the Autumn through the use of the lifeboat airlocks, and at the beginning of Two Betrayals as the Sentinels attack the Master Chief in the Control Room. The piece has been remade in the Halo 3: Original Soundtrack in the second half of the song, Farthest Outpost and plays in the Halo 3 level, The Ark.
Trivia
- This song most likely refers to the "perilous" (arduous) journey that the Master Chief must make.
