ONI Recon 111 is a UNSC Office of Naval Intelligence military unit.[1]
Operational History
It was stationed nearby Voi, Kenya during the Second Battle of Earth and the Battle of Voi, and was tasked to report Covenant activity near a small section of Earth that had been glassed by Covenant warships.
ONI Recon 111 reported to Commander Miranda Keyes that the Covenant Cruisers had found something within the crater they were digging and shortly afterwards, Fleet Admiral Hood ordered a strike on the Covenant forces to stop them from activating the artifact in the crater.

- It is possible that ONI Recon 111 is the main character of Halo 3: Recon. Alongside the obvious "Recon" connection, in PARDON OUR DUST the other main speaker is [DARE.V.500341(S1)], with S1 possibly referring to ONI Section 1.
