The SPARTAN-IIs trained here as well in 2517 upon their initial induction into the SPARTAN-II program.[1] In 2552, this was the location where John-117 tested his new MJOLNIR Mark V armor, equipped with Energy Shields.[2] During the Battle of Reach, Frederic-104 used this area as a staging point for his Spartans.
