M8 Wolf Spider

Template:Ratings Template:New Content The M8 Automated Defense System, nicknamed the Wolf Spider, is an automated defense turret utilized by the UNSC. During the Fall of Reach, four Wolf Spiders were deployed around Dr. Catherine Halsey's lab in the Babd Catha Forerunner Complex.[1]
Overview
Wolf Spiders have to shut down to recharge energy after they became too damaged, requiring a manual reactivation after they finish recharging. They can be linked to a Heads Up Display that displays their remaining health, much like a generator in Generator Defense.[1]
