Lucius R. Jiron was a captain in the Office of Naval Intelligence and the commanding officer of the stealth ship ONI PRO-49776 during the Human-Covenant War.[1]
In 2544, shortly after the Battle of Miridem, he received a narrow-band point-to-point transmission from Vice Admiral Berlin M. Tursk regarding the capture of Dr. Catherine Halsey.[1] He soon oversaw a team of SPARTANs on mission to retrieve Halsey from a Covenant fleet. After deploying the SPARTANs on OF/92 "Booster Frames", he monitored the SPARTANs' mission from the bridge of the stealth ship and later recovered the survivors of the mission.[2]
