Template:Human Character Infobox Corporal Kaleb West was a sniper during the Second Battle of New Mombasa. He was well known due to his incredible aim and accuracy with a sniper rifle. His rifle of choice was the SRS99D-S2 AM Sniper Rifle. This rifle fired 14.5mm APFSDS rounds. During the battle, he was photographed by the famous war photographer Jake Courage. One of the things that Kaleb West is best known for is saving the lives of his fellow marines after their pelican was shot down. They took fire from a shade turret and clipped a building, causing the pelican to lose its left wing. During the battle, Corporal West led a one man charge into the fire and was able to hold the covenant forces back long enough for a pelican to come in and evac the wounded. Kaleb West was promoted to Sergeant following the battle for, "Putting his own life on the line to save the lives of his fellow marines." He died on February 17 2548 when he was leading a squad of marines into a small town, he was killed by a sniper. . .[1]
