Template:New Content Juridicals were a rate in Forerunner society. They were charged with investigating criminal actions by citizens of the ecumene. Juridicals were charged with investigating previous criminal actions and preventing crimes from being committed. The head of the Juridical rate was the Master Juridical.[1][2] Many Juridicals belonged to Catalog, a group of evidence-gathering agents who were all viewed as the same individual and shared a form of mental link via the Juridical network.

During the rule of the "Old Council", Juridicals were corrupted by Master Builder Faber, and were used to pursue his agenda.[3] The Juridical network, by which Catalog and Juridicals communicated, was shut down around 100,000 BCE due to some Juridicals being captured by the Flood, who then were able to access it.[4]

Juridicals were noted to be conservative in their views, due to a much closer connection to the Domain than other Forerunners.[2]
