A UNSC Marine Corps pilot inside a D77-TC Pelican in Halo 2: Anniversary's Blur Studio cutscenes, taken from the opening of the level Outskirts.
A Pelican pilot with an IHADSS display on their visor.

The Integrated Helmet and Display Sight System (IHADSS) is a computer system used by the designated gunner on D77-TC Pelican dropships (and presumably those of other aircraft such as UH-144 Falcons[Note 1]). It determines where the gunner's eyes are focused and aims the craft's chin-mounted weaponry (such as M370 or M638 autocannons) accordingly.[1][2]

Notes[edit]

  1. ^ In Halo: Fireteam Raven, Falcon pilots are seen wearing the same helmet as their Halo 2 counterparts, which is equipped with this system.
