Admiral Gabriela Castenada was a human flag officer in service with the UNSC Navy. An inspiring leader, fearless warrior, and skilled diplomat, she maintained a dry sense of humor. At some point before the Fall of Reach, she died and her brain was used as the basis for the creation of the smart AI Gabriela, the AI assigned to UNSC Promise of Dawn and later Outpost Discovery.[1]
