These rockets proved to be inefficient against Covenant shielding, and they were also impractical because they had no guidance system, and they took a long time to accelerate. The UNSC typically used these to lay waste to relatively stationary targets, such as orbiting space stations.
Typically, UNSC Carriers carried two Rockets and Marathon-class Cruisers carried five.[1] The UNSC Commonwealth also carried two Fusion Rockets at the time of the Battle of Chi Ceti.[2].
Trivia
- The Fusion Rocket was known as the Fusion Missile in the Fall of Reach, but has since then been changed to Fusion Rocket.
