A Medical Kiosk, as seen in Halo 3: ODST.
A Medical Kiosk is a usable stationary terminal in Halo 3: ODST, that dispenses Optican Health Packs. A normal Medical Kiosk contains two health pack sockets. Like most of New Mombasa's infrastructure, these stations are controlled by the Superintendent.[1]
Gameplay
Since ODST and Marine personnel lack any form of energy shield, like that used by previous playable characters in the Halo series, health is much more important , and thus the Medical Kiosk is a vital part of gameplay. It works in a similar fashion as the Health Packs from the original Halo game, Halo: Combat Evolved.
Trivia
- There is also an achievement to use one for the first time in Halo 3: ODST.
