A Covenant Storage Device is a form of storage for Covenant information, similar to the UNSC's own Data Crystal Chips. The block consists of a brick shaped-chunk of a superdense material unknown to Humans. Its capacity is apparently unknown also, but it is likely to be numeral.[1]

Though Humans do not fully understand the technology, they are still capable of retrieving the data from these devices, or their AI constructs can at least.[1]
